I used more brighter colours for the background because I didn´t like how dark the original colours were.

 

The lifecycle of a butterfly!

 

We were learning to do explanation writing. Explanation writing is explaining your topic to your reader my topic is the lifecycle of a butterfly. You need to have a topic that you can explain and that is easy for you to explain. In the writing you need to include an introduction, main body and a conclusion each of these also need to be in a paragraph.

I learnt that when the butterfly is ready to come out of the chrysalis the chrysalis goes transparent and that the very first thing the caterpillar eats is it´s very own eggshell. I also learnt that when a butterfly egg is laid they are almost white but before hatching it changes to yellow.

I found it easy to collect the facts of the lifecycle of a butterfly because i found this really cool website and it had all of the facts for you right there. I also found it easy to create my diagrahm pictures because I just found a picture from google then I traced around it.

I found it hard to figure out how I should put my DlO in place because I tried lots of different ways but none of them worked but then I searched up on google ways to make a DLO and then I finally found the right one. I also found it hard to like write down the facts because my slide was all glitchy and stuff kept on moving. 

I really enjoyed creating my diagrahm pictures because it was super fun drawing the pictures and using lots of different colours. I also really enjoyed going on that website that had all of the facts on the lifecycle of a butterfly because I learnt something new such as the very first thing a caterpillar eats is it´s very own eggshell.

Next time I think I could add more facts on that part of the lifecycle because I didn´t  really add that much in and the reader might not have got a good description on that thing. Next time I could also maybe add some more detail to the diagrahm pictures.

I was being a researcher by organising my data and and gathering information.

My Spring Writing!

We were learning to make a slide about spring.The things we had to include in 

 it were our best features about spring. When we wrote about it we had to write a full paragraph, we also had to think about our words we used and we had to use good vocab.

I found it easy to think of the sentences I was going to use because when my teacher was explaining it to me I had some sentences in mind that I was going to use. I also found it easy to think of  different words then the ones I used before because I just got a dictionary and I chose a new one.

I found it hard to describe some words because I just did not know the best word to describe, because I wanted to make it perfect but when I went on to google I found really good words to describe the words I was stuck on.

Next time I will try to add more describing words and have less pink so I don´t need to keep on fixing up all of it. I will also try to add more level three words and have all different sentence starters and have more yellow highlighted

How long does a sunflower grow for?

 

I was learning about how long does a sunflower grow for.

I enjoyed finding sunflower finding the photos of the sunflowers because they were all so different and pretty.

I found it challenging to find facts because I could not really find any I only found two.

Next time I will add some more facts and not just look for sunflower pictures.

My Favourite book/Powtoons

 

I was learning how to make a powtoon on my favourite book.

I really enjoyed using powtoons because it was my third time using powtoons, and I got to know how to use a voiceover.

I found it challenging to choose a topic because I could not choose between matilda, and the witches but i choose matilda.

Next time I will maybe add more props to my video and use different backgrounds for all of my slides.

Shooting hoops it tag!

 

I was learning how to create my own fitness game and needing them to be good instructions.

I really enjoyed creating my own fitness game because I got to joined some of my favourite games into one.

I found it challenging to kind of explain my game I knew it had to have lots of detail and I did not know if I had enough or not.

Next time I will maybe not write so much because In my writing book I wrote lots and all of the words were bunched together, and I couldn´t really read it.

BFG Activity!

 

I was learning how to make a poetry about the BFG.

I really enjoyed writing the poetry on to my slides because I liked using all of the cool fonts.It´s also much easier typing on a chromebook that writing in a book.

I found it challenging to find pictures of the BFG to go with my writing, because there was only like 2 pictures.

Next time I will try to use more colour in my slides and try to concentrate more on this activity.
